This guy is a techy and an analyst. He has no use for anecdotal and intuitive information; it's either empirical or fuhgeddaboutit.So it was with great interest that we read his recent blog post where he concluded that even when paying Verizon's early termination fee, TracFone was a better deal!

Being in a cellphone contract is slavery, really. Getting stuck with huge monthly bills makes no sense to me. I discovered Tracfone long time ago and since I only pay for what I use of their service not a penny more, no fees no contracts no bills, it's paradise and their promotions and coverage are great!
